Females in Finance Summer 2026

🍷We are delighted to welcome the team from OTHER, to host our wine tasting event! This session is designed so that you leave with the vocabulary, knowledge, and confidence to discuss wine, whether with clients or among friends. Each guest will be guided through four wines, with wines from OTHER as well as guest wines, learning how to describe them, know what to order in restaurants, and continue to discover which type of wines you prefer.

OTHER are an importer of wines from lesser known regions. Their mission is to bring to market independent wines from countries like Uruguay and Moldova regions which are less known for their wine, as well as sharing stories from family-run vineyards using ancient techniques to bold newcomers. The bottles are designed with London-based artists to enhance their visual identity.

Talking us through the wines on the day will be Ellie! Ellie is passionate about the craft and making wine accessible, and is excited to share the top tips and tricks she’s picked up behind the scenes to help you navigate your next wine list with confidence.

​📖We will also be introducing the Atlantic House Book Club's summer selection: How Women Rise by Sally Helgesen and Marshall Goldsmith. The book explores 12 common habits that can hold women back in the workplace and offers practical guidance on building confidence, gaining recognition and progressing in your career.
