Three-year deal to nurture netball talent while improving diversity in the City
Atlantic House Investments (AHI), a market-leading provider of defined return investments, has entered a three-year, six-figure partnership with London Pulse, London’s only Vitality Netball Superleague (VNSL) team.
This association sees Atlantic House Investments become a leading partner for London Pulse, sponsoring its VNSL and Pathway Squads (U21 and U19). AHI will also be a high-profile home match day sponsor at London Pulse’s iconic venue, the Copper Box Arena located in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
AHI’s support of London Pulse will raise the team’s profile and help it achieve its ambitions of delivering world class netball at VNSL level. It will also help nurture and develop player talent, extending the reach and fanbase across London.
In addition, through this association, AHI aims to raise awareness of the financial services industry among young women who might not have previously considered it as a career option. AHI recognises that there is lack of diversity and gender equality in the City and it is hoped that this partnership with a team that has such a broad reach will help address this imbalance. Furthermore, AHI will offer London Pulse’s athletes work experience, internships and mentoring to support them in achieving their long-term sporting and professional goals.
London Pulse is the provider of England Netball’s performance pathway for London and the South East and has already developed exceptional talent, with many now playing Superleague netball. It is dedicated to finding, inspiring and developing the next generation of leading netballers to be Superleague and England stars of the future.
Tony Stenning, Group CEO Atlantic House Investments, said:
“London Pulse has evident passion not only for netball but also for raising the profile of this exciting game among a wide range of athletes across London, one of the world’s most diverse cities. We are looking forward to playing our part in their success.
“Equally important for us is the chance to similarly demonstrate to young women from a variety of backgrounds that real opportunities exist for them within the financial services industry. There is a clear lack of gender equality and diversity in the City and we hope that our partnership with London Pulse will help attract more female professionals, not just to Atlantic House Investments but to the investment industry as a whole.”
Sam Bird, CEO London Pulse said:
“I’m delighted that London Pulse has worked successfully with Atlantic House Investments to deliver this partnership agreement. Their generosity will allow London Pulse to grow commercially long-term.
“Working together, we will improve the profile of elite netball across London and our success will connect with communities in London to play, watch and enjoy netball. At the same time, we applaud Atlantic House Investment’s ambition of promoting greater diversity within the investment industry, just as we seek to broaden the appeal of netball in London and beyond. We look forward to working with Tony and his team to provide the best possible platform for all our players to develop and succeed as netball continues to grow in popularity.”
