📖For the spring 2025 book club, we chose Emotional Intelligence by Daniel Goleman. The book argues that emotional intelligence (EQ) is crucial for success, often more than IQ. It highlights five key components of EQ: self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills. Goleman shows how these traits influence personal well-being and professional success, and emphasises that EQ can be developed over time.
